I personally can’t see anything wrong with this, as the space which was derelict anyway, (also crawling with fungus before they cleared it all up! so the building is better off as it can be used straight away instead of getting into a worse case and may cause it to be demolished ) also they want to open in up for the public to display work and to observe other artists work.

The problems with todays current climate is that, yes places are cheap, but not that cheap! so artist struggle to show there work and amazing forms of art are missed. which would be benefiting Londons small businesses with bringing more people to the area!!!

Therefore by opening these buildings whilst no one is going to use the, is great, its a win-win situation, as the property owner doesn’t have to pay to keep it running, and also like i said before, doesn’t have to have a major refit due to rot etc.

The only complaint i have about the whole idea, is that i’m not the one doing it. I love art and hope this works out for them.

I saw this in the london-paper, (picture by Paul Pennycook) i thought it was amazing, great capture and the story behind it, being that we are watched all the time, with people behind the cameras!

Now i know that the console has been out for a while but i thought i would put a review down.

So the 360, personally i think it’s the best , i know there will be a lot  of people who think different, but hear my thoughts first.

good bits First off the console, it looks clean, great features and the controllers are perfectly balanced,  i love the fact you can switch the console on via the controller, ( i know others do but this was the first to do so)

again gaming is brilliant, i played GTA1v, gears of war 1+2, far cry 2, PGR4 and was amazed with the graphics, and also the smoothness of the games.

other features such as the usb’s are great, being able to put your ipod into the console and play your music is outstanding especially if you have a group of mates around, being able to change the source very easily .

bad parts of the 360 are that you have this annoying fan buzzing all the time but if you put it in an open space it’s not to bad, again another thing is the on and off button i know it’s only a button but it’s so crappy.

don’t get me wrong i love the console but there are things i would like to have seen changed.

as this is my first reivew i’ll just explain in a sentence what i do instead of doing all the boring bits i like to review the items for what people actually want to read and see.

so i managed to get my hands on a sigma 17-35, and i was highly impressed,

i started with the looks and weight, its a large lens and looks good on the front of the camera, but it’s very heavy for the size,also when you look into the lens ( not mounted) the front glass is tiny, so without adding a filter it kinda looks odd?

i then went on the action of the focus and zoom, i personally thought it was good, with a smooth action for focus and zooming making it easy to manual focus without slipping and twitching the focus ring like mad.

image quality – i know this is very important but the best are left till last, i felt for the price (£139.99 at the time of purchase) its outstanding with excellent results, yes there are better lens out there but for the price you can’t beat it. i tested it during low lights and it was amazing,
